Vitamin B12 supports healthy energy production, red blood cell formation, nervous system function and mental clarity. It is one of the most commonly requested wellness boosters.
B12 is absorbed in the small intestine through a process that becomes less efficient with age and can be affected by certain medications and diets. Injection bypasses that step entirely.
Aveum uses methylcobalamin, the active form. The injection takes 10 to 15 minutes and can be booked on its own or added to any IV therapy.

Common questions
- How often can I have a B12 injection?
- Frequency depends on your individual circumstances and is determined during your Registered Nurse assessment. There is no single schedule that suits everyone.
- Do I need a blood test first?
- Aveum Wellness does not require one, but if you are concerned about a deficiency, ask your physician about testing. A blood test tells you something an injection cannot.
- Do I need a Good Faith Exam before booking?
- Yes. Every new Aveum Wellness client completes a one-time Good Faith Exam, a short online telehealth screening through our medical partner Qualiphy. It reviews your medical history, current medications and allergies. The exam is a one-time $30 fee and remains valid for one year across all eligible Aveum Wellness services.
- Where does the appointment take place?
- Aveum Wellness is a concierge practice, so a Registered Nurse travels to you. Appointments take place at your home, office or hotel anywhere in our Dallas–Fort Worth service area. There is no clinic to drive to.
- Who administers the treatment?
- A Registered Nurse performs your health assessment and administers every treatment, under the supervision of a licensed Medical Director. Medications and compounded therapies are sourced from licensed U.S. pharmacies.
